I was in town on Saturday and thought I would go and have a quick browse through the makeup section at Superdrug. Little did I know that I would still be there walking back and forth up the aisles 45 minutes later..
I was looking to buy a new foundation but soon got distracted by all the other pretty things that I convinced myself I needed.

I took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer that was on and bought things that I actually needed for once! I ended up purchasing 3 Maybelline products.

Left to right: Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me, Maybelline Brow Drama in Dark Blond, Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in Soft Brown.

I've been sceptical about the Baby Lips products for a while but I finally gave in and bought one in the shade Cherry Me. I'd heard a lot of hype about the Baby Lips line and couldn't see why people were going crazy over a tinted lipbalm. I soon changed my opinion when I tried it for myself. My lips get very dry and chapped in the winter but within the first two applications of the balm, my lips felt smoother and softer. As the name implies, it has a cherry flavour but the scent isn't too much. It leaves a sheer pinky colour on the lips that is very accurate to the colour in the bullet; it also adds a lovely natural shine. I think I might have to go and purchase the peachy shade next!
I've been using powder to fill in my brows for a long time now and I decided that I need to change up my routine. I've used clear mascaras to keep my brows in place in the past but found that they just made my brows look slicked down and unnatural, so I decided to buy a tinted brow gel. I hadn't found any tinted brow gels in the drugstore that had stood out to me before this one, the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara in the shade Dark Blond.
I have tried this once since I bought it so I still don't have a full opinion of it yet. What I can tell you is that I wasn't expecting the formula to be so pigmented. Also, it seemed to last all day on my brows. I will try this out more and might do a full review in the future.

Lastly, I bought the Maybelline Master Shape Brow Pencil in the shade Soft Brown. I have also only tried this once as part of my new eyebrow routine so I haven't tried it long enough to know how well it lasts etc, but it matches my brow shade well and the colour is cool toned so it doesn't come across as orangey on the brows. The pencil also has an eyebrow brush/spulee on the opposite end which comes in very handy.
